- Legal obligation — we may be required to process or retain certain information to comply with applicable law.
6. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following third parties as necessary to provide our service:
Stripe
We use Stripe to process deposit and balance payments. When you pay through our website, you are interacting with Stripe’s secure payment infrastructure. Stripe processes your payment card details and may store certain payment-related data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Google Workspace & Google Apps Script
We use Google Workspace (including Google Sheets and Google Apps Script) as our back-office system to store quote and booking records, manage availability, and generate customer communications. Your booking information is stored in Google Sheets hosted on Google’s infrastructure in accordance with Google’s data processing terms.
Vercel
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel’s infrastructure processes HTTP requests and may generate server-side access logs containing IP addresses and request data as part of normal hosting operations. Vercel is a US-based provider and operates in accordance with its own privacy and data processing commitments.
Google Fonts
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as part of this request. No personal information collected by us is passed to Google Fonts.
Our website contains links to our WhatsApp Business number. If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, that communication is subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy. We do not pass your data to WhatsApp.
We may also share personal information where we are required to do so by law, court order or regulatory authority.
7. Payment processing
All payment card processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see, store or process your full payment card number at any point. MoreClutr receives confirmation of a successful payment together with a Stripe session reference, which we use to update your booking record.
Stripe is PCI DSS compliant and operates independently secure payment infrastructure.
8. How long we keep your information
We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In practice:
- Booking and customer records are retained for a reasonable period following completion of the service to handle any post-service queries, complaints or disputes.
- We will delete or anonymise personal information that is no longer needed for any purpose.
- We may retain certain records for longer where we are required to do so by law.
As MoreClutr develops its data retention schedule, specific retention periods will be published here.
9. International transfers
Our primary service providers — Vercel and Google — are US-based organisations. When your data is processed by these providers, it may be transferred to or accessed from the United States or other countries outside the UK/EEA.
Both Vercel and Google participate in appropriate data transfer mechanisms. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. These include:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit to and from our website.
- Server-side processing of sensitive data — payment information is handled server-side by Stripe and is never exposed in our frontend code.
- API secret authentication between our website and our back-office systems.
- Access controls on our back-office Google Workspace environment.
No system is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your information, please contact us.
